About Jo Heckett

Originally from Cork in the Irish Republic, Jo trained at Chelsea School of Art and Brighton University where she received a BA (hons) in 3D Design (Wood, Metal, Ceramics and Plastics). She lives in London with her husband and two children, and combines working from her studio with teaching mosaics and ceramics.

Jo is inspired by the simple (and best) things in life – home, fun, family, food and friends. As Jo puts it ‘ there’s nothing quite like the buzz of knowing someone’s bought something that I’ve made that they really love, whether it’s for themselves or a gift. You can’t beat that.’
