You know the saying ‘as cute as a button’... Well, they don’t get much cuter than this!
Adorable little ceramic heart buttons that are stamped a lovely subtle pattern. They are glazed with a transparent, glossy soft and dusky pink glaze that allows the natural beauty of the clay to shine through.
The holes are clean, smooth and large enough to sew on with thread or fine wool.
Because they are high fired they are much tougher than you might think, and can be machine washed at high temperatures, as long as the garment is turned inside out.
Heart dimensions: 2.2 cm x 2 cm (7 eighths of an inch x 4 fifths of an inch), and 0.2-0.3 cm (about 0.1 of an inch) thick (dimensions vary slightly as they are handmade). Hole diameter: 1.5-2mm (approximately one sixteenth of an inch).
