This gorgeous set of porcelain baubles is an heirloom in the making.

The five shapes seem to glow even in the dark, and look amazing on the tree or as a centre-piece decoration. They are strung with antique metal thread in an aged gold finish, and really come to life when near candles or fairy lights.

Their vintage, antiquey finish lends them an elegant, shabby chic feel, and means they fit beautifully with modern and traditional schemes.

Each bauble is hand cut and the surface stamped with garlands of seasonal patterns. They are then low fired before being fired again with a glossy clear glaze at very high temperatures that brings out the natural beauty of the porcelain and results in strength and durability, Finally they are hand painted with real gold lustre before being fired again for the third time to fuse it to the glazed surface.

The baubles vary in size, measuring from 6.3 to 8 cm in height (two & a half to three & an eighth inches) and from 5.7 to 3 cm across (two and a quarter to one and a quarter inches). They are approximately 5 mm deep (an eighth of an inch).
